| The Arts Program at Highland Park Elementary is sponsored by the PTA and led for 2007-2008 by Ingrid Nyholm-Lange. The goal of this group is to bring additional art opportunities to our students, including the special programs listed in this section.
We recognize that hands-on experience with the arts enhances the overall educational experience and complements the PYP philosophy. These art education programs have been developed in cooperation with school staff to ensure that they fit within the PYP curriculum and complement the units of inquiry in which students are engaged.
