Being A Partner In Your Child's Education
Suggestions of things that you can do at home to help your child be successful at school:

• You can help your child with writing by encouraging him/her to write notes, lists, letters, and write in journals or diaries.
• Develop a family and individual reading time. Encourage your child to read alone or aloud for 30 - 60 minutes everyday. Have your child tell you about what he/she has read.
• Show an interest in your child's school and school work.
• Develop a nightly homework study time of 30 - 60 minutes with adult supervision.
• Make sure your child gets sufficient sleep.

Let's develop a partnership between home and school to make this a successful year for your child. Please feel free to call school if you have any questions or concerns about your child or about school work or homework. The phone number at school is 651-293-8770.
