In the primary grades, the concentration is on locomotor movements, gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination and spatial awareness. Activities are of low-organization, usually involving manipulatives.
Intermediate students refine the gross motor and locomotor skills through a variety of higher organized activities, and individual and team sports.
Fitness, through | | Gr. 5/6 "Double Dutchers" | rhythmic movement, is demonstrated daily by students in all of my (16) classes. On May 1, 2008, our culminating event will be the Rhythmic Movement Program
