specialist at Highland Park Elementary for the past 32 years. I graduated from the the University of Minnesota with double  | | 2-HANDED BACKHAND!!! | majors in Physical Education
and School and Community Health Education. My minors are in Child Psychology and Coaching.
For the first 9 years of my career I coached volleyball  | | FORE!!! | at Highland Park Senior High School. In my free time I love to golf, play tennis, walk, work out on my recumbent bike, and read. I have serious Donald Duck and Bugs Bunny collections!!!

In the primary grades, the concentration is on locomotor movements, gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination and spatial awareness. Activities are of low-organization, usually involving manipulatives.

Intermediate students refine the gross motor and locomotor skills through a variety of higher organized activities, and individual and team sports.
Fitness,  | | CHA CHA CHA!!! | through rhythmic movement, is demonstrated daily by students
in all of my (16) classes. Our culminating event will be the 32nd annual
Rhythmic Movement Program on May 13th, 2010.
