Dear Families,
We are off to a great year - wow, what a wonderful class! The volunteer options are as follows:
- Mystery
Readers -
Sign-up on the door. Readers bring in their own stories and
read a book or two to the class. Usually about 15 minutes. Every Monday
from 2:30 to 2:45
- Field trips -
Our first field trip is scheduled
for Oct 18th to the Apple Orchard near Hastings. If you are available,
please come along. Families need their own transportation (adults
only), because the bus is so full with 3 classes.
- $10.00 cooking fund -
Thank you for the early donations. We try to cook once a week.
- Book
Order Coordinator -
This person passes out the book orders, sends in the
order, and distributes the books to the kids. It can be done online and
it can be done from home.
- Cricket buyer -
Once a month we need
crickets for our spider. We need about a dozen, and the cost is about
$1.50. This is a great help to me.
- Room Helper -
Make phone calls, help with some class activities, run occasional errands, etc.
