The following is a list of volunteer opportunities:
25 Book Coordinator:
At the end of the month, tally the number of books the class has
read and fill out McDonald's coupons for students.
Study Buddy :
Tutor students to help secure reading and math skills.
Classroom Helper:
Help with class projects and "housekeeping" activities on a regular
basis (example - every Monday in the afternoon).
Book Club Facilitator:
Meet with a small group of students to discuss literature.
Library Liaison:
Assist groups of students with selecting and checking out library
books.
I am flexible as to the day of the week and number of hours a person
can commit to these jobs. Please contact me either by phone

Classroom Volunteer Essential Agreement: (Guideline of Expectations)
• Respect the role of the classroom teacher as the teacher leader and volunteer supervisor.
• Model the Learner Profile *
• Be familiar with the expectations of your involvement in each specific classroom, as it may differ from room to room.
• Do not overstay your visit and avoid any unnecessary interruptions/distractions.
• Consider volunteering in a classroom that is not your child’s in order
to minimize any distraction that your presence my cause your child.
• Check-in at the office and get a volunteer badge before going to the classroom.
