-Direct instruction of high performing students in their classrooms. -Coaching and material support for classroom teachers. -Leader of our Challenge Group for parents and teachers -Enrichment coordinator
DIRECT INSTRUCTION The vast majority of Mr. Bollom's time is spent working with flexible groups in our classrooms. Mr. Bollom's groups are determined by student need for additional challenge in specific curricular areas.
COACHING AND MATERIAL SUPPORT Mr. Bollom provides support to all teachers at HPE as regards high ability students. He is available for consultation on strategies as well as material acquisition.
CHALLENGE GROUP EVENING MEETINGS FOR PARENTS The
Challenge Group consists of parents and teachers who are interested in
the challenges provided to students at HPE. We discuss and plan with
the intent of providing the best available programming options to our
students. The Challenge Group is open to any interested party. The
more input we have the better our opportunities for learning can
become. Please join us if you are interested and able to do so.
Challenge Group meeting dates are set. Each meeting takes place from
6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the HPE media center. All meeting dates are on
Mondays. September 22 October 20 November 17 December 15 January 12 February TBD April 20
