Summer School 2008 - Butterfly Study (Click here to see pictures) Mrs. Cotter gave us 2 caterpillars and we watched them turn into monarch butterflies. We released them and let them return to nature. We studied a lot about butterflies and we did research, wrote and drew about them as well. Ms. Weisman's son Joseph came in and read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to the class and taught everyone our family butterfly song and dance. The following is a poem is inspired by Ms. Weisman's family butterfly song and written by Xzavier and included are some pictures and drawings by Nayher, Olivia, Sara, Cortney, Luis, Rediate and Hlu. We didn't take pictures of everything, so enjoy what we have to share!
