Welcome to Mrs. Blat's 2nd Grade! Back to School Hi, my name is Jenni Blat.  I'm very excited for a new school year at Highland Park Elementary.  I attended St. Paul Schools and graduated from St. Paul Central in 1990.  I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the Pennsylvania State University.  While at Penn State I was on the fencing team and we won four National Championships. I earned my Master of Science degree from Bemidji State University.  This is my 10th year teaching in St. Paul. I live in Roseville with my husband Bob, who teaches fifth grade in St. Paul and our two Labrador Retrievers, Murphy a four year old black lab and Boomer a three year old yellow lab.  I enjoy reading, shopping, training for marathons and triathlons with Murphy and Boomer, and spending time with my family.  You can read all about our adventures on our blog, www.blackdogrunning.blogspot.com.  I'm looking forward to a fun and rewarding year!
